About Caroline Srbeny
Licensed Professional Counselor

Life can be incredibly difficult, and at times we may reach a point of feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or frustrated with our situation. When that happens, none of us should be expected to handle things all on our own. I believe that therapy can provide a safe and comfortable space in which you can explore the thoughts and feelings weighing you down without judgment.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and strengths-based with foundations in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My goal is to empower you to live every day in a way that aligns with your values, despite life’s inevitable obstacles. I value each aspect of your identity — including ability, gender, sexuality, and race — as an important piece of your story.
I work with adults and teens on issues related to anxiety, stress, autism, ADHD, depression, and disability. I'm passionate about helping chronically ill women, queer, and nonbinary individuals build acceptance and reclaim a sense of agency over their lives. No matter what brings you into therapy with me, you will be seen, heard, and understood.
I have a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University. In my free time, I enjoy painting my nails, taking care of my guinea pigs, and watching dystopian and survival films.
