I utilize cognitive-behavioral strategies, with an emphasis on mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My goal in therapy is to create a meaningful, collaborative relationship that is tailored to helping you find balance by developing your strengths and emphasizing goals that move you towards the life you envision.
My areas of focus for treatment and support include anxiety, phobias, OCD, self-care, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors, depression, and past trauma. I am passionate about providing the best up-to-date care to clients and can offer Virtual Reality exposure opportunities.
I have a wealth of knowledge on topics including cultivating gratitude, building social connections, and maintaining balance in life roles. I have worked in a variety of settings to help ensure that those who need support are able to find it. This includes my tenure as the Statewide Coordinator for the Illinois Respite Coalition and my work at Clearbrook providing support to families of children with special needs.
During my down time I enjoy dabbling in various artistic mediums, playing board games, listening to mystery audiobooks, taking my Pomeranian for walks, and enjoying all the different experiences that Chicago has to offer.
