About Emily McCallion
Counseling Intern

Wherever you are in your mental health journey, reaching out for help can be an intimidating but important first step. My goal is to create a compassionate and nonjudgmental space to support you and unpack whatever might be going on. It takes work to build up an authentic life or to heal from difficult events, and my aim is to be a collaborator walking this path with you. You don’t have to go through it alone.
My approach utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, existential therapy, and expressive arts interventions to help you work toward your goals. Together, I hope we can build a healing relationship based on authenticity, trust, and empathy to help you live a life aligned with your values and goals. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Florida and am currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Roosevelt University. In my free time, I love reading a good book, thrifting, or spending time in nature. |
