About Elena Pagels
Counseling Intern
“When are you planning to become the person you were born to be?”—Russell Brand.
You’ve already taken the first step. Let’s sit down and honor the parts of you that have been stuck in the dark for far too long. Allow me to meet you where you’re at and help unlock your story in a safe, creative, and non-judgmental space. My approach to therapy is integrative, incorporating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and creative therapies. The experience will be customized and collaborative. Don’t feel bad for the things you need—it’s okay not to be okay. I can help you by bringing awareness to survival skills that may no longer serve you. As a cisgender queer therapist, I practice anti-racism and create a space that is inclusive to all backgrounds and lived experiences. Let’s identify, accept, and release you from a life haunted by trauma, anxiety and depression, guilt and shame, ambiguous grief, addiction and ACA issues, and the quarter-life crisis. A sense of humor is always welcome. In my free time, I love watching historical dramas and comparing fact to fiction. I dig nature bathing and a good swim. When I’m not playing board games you can find me in the park with my panda pug, Oscar. You are already whole. |
